Sunday Worship

May 2, 2021 @ 11:15 am - 12:15 pm

What to expect on a Sunday

Anyone can attend a Sunday service in the Church – you don’t have to be a member. The days of having to wear a hat and gloves or a good suit and tie to church are long gone.

To find out what to expect at the service at the moment please see the item on the Home Page and the special edition Weekly Parishioner.  We must remind you that face coverings are now mandatory in the Church.

The church has a ramp at the main door so that wheelchairs and others with mobility issues can get in easily. We often find that those with wheelchairs sit in the side aisles or you may wish to sit in the social area.

We look forward to welcoming you to St Mungo’s whether you are here on holiday, have just moved to the area or just want to come to Church.

Reports of recent events

Guild Summer Outing

Members of the guild and friends recently had a canal boat trip from Linlithgow to the Avon aquaduct and back followed by tea at the Dutch Inn. The weather was glorious and we enjoyed seeing all the wildlife and scenery.

Duty Groups

On a Sunday morning you can expect to see a group of elders who will welcome you as you come into Church and give you a hymn book and an order of service. During the service they will take the collection which they count later. As you leave the church you can return your hymn books to an elder at the back.
